Anti-pipeline anthem demonstrates power of the arts in addressing the climate crisis
BENT MOUNTAIN, Va. — Global Climate Strike Week began today. As I reported yesterday, Bent Mountain will be the scene this Sunday for the “Circle of Protection: Bent Mountain”. It’s purpose it to use an arts centered format to bring awareness about the climate crisis and ways to counter it.
The day’s activities will conclude with a concert at 7 p.m. by the SUN SiNG Collective. The SUN SiNG collective is a group of ten musicians who produced “To the River,” which has become an anthem for resistance to the Atlantic Coast and Mountain Valley Pipelines.
