LENOIR, N.C. – Have you always wanted to write the Great American Novel? Or do you just have the urge to write something… anything, but really need to practice and improve your skill? Think you’d like to do freelance writing for a magazine or newspaper?
No matter what type of writing interests you, no matter how much or how little writing you’ve done in the past (or the distant past) – this is your writing group!
Led by Lenoir’s own Michael Barrick, journalist, author and co-owner of the The Lenoir Voice, this six-week workshop series for ages 16 and up will be packed with fun activities and plenty of opportunities to hone your skills, exercise your creativity and learn to see stories in the events and places all around you.
The writing group will meet on Saturdays at 10 a.m. beginning March 4 and running through April 8 in the Lenoir Library Downstairs, Room 3. The Lenoir branch of the Caldwell County Public Library is located at 120 Hospital Ave. in Lenoir.
Seating is limited, so reservations are suggested. Save your spot by giving calling 828-757-1270.
